LISOT Optimist, Laser and C420 LISOT provides world-class training for highly motivated junior sailors who want to develop and hone their racing skills in the Optimist, I420, C420, Laser or Radial. We’re a completely open and inclusive team with sailors from all around LI Sound and the NY Metro area. Any aspiring sailor who has completed an advanced racing program and wants to improve his or her racing skills are welcome to sail with us in a positive and fun environment. Sailors do not need to be a member of a yacht club. There is no membership or membership fee, nor long-term commitment. You can sail as much or as little as you like. For more information, visit the LISOT website.

Team Gnarly Optimist Racing Team Gnarly hosts clinics and weekend practices for advanced Optimist racers who want to improve their racing skills, learn sportsmanship and have fun sailing. Practices are held on Long Island and in Westchester/CT. The team travels to USODA and other events around the US, Canada and Europe. Most sailors who join Team Gnarly have completed at least two summers of training at their local yacht club, and are eager to continue sailing into the fall after their summer program ends. Fall weekend practices are the best entry point for new Team Gnarly sailors, with ideal sailing conditions well into November. After attending a full set of fall practices, most sailors are ready to participate in their first regional or national Opti events. For more information visit, the Team Gnarly website.

Long Island Mid-Atlantic Sailing Team LIMA is a team for sailors who are motivated to achieve their personal best in competitive sailing.
